Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center in Callicoon, NY seeks a professional Private Driver to provide safe, punctual transportation for our executive team and guests in the New York City metropolitan area and between NYC and the resort. You will plan routes, maintain vehicles, manage fuel, tolls and parking accounts, assist with luggage, and coordinate with approved vendors.

A clean NYS license and five years driving experience are required, with three years in NYC metro area.

ABOUT THE RESORT

Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center is a full-service resort and conference destination in Callicoon, New York, in the heart of Sullivan County. We are seeking an experienced professional driver to provide safe, punctual, and discreet transportation for our executive team and business guests in the New York City metropolitan area and between New York City and the Resort.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will transport designated executives, ownership, and business guests between residences, offices, airports, rail terminals, meeting venues, and our Callicoon property. You will plan routes in advance and adjust them as traffic, weather, and road conditions require. You will keep the assigned vehicle immaculate, fueled, and mechanically sound, coordinate maintenance and inspections with approved vendors, and manage parking, tolls, and fuel accounts. You will assist passengers with luggage and transport materials between the Resort and the city. Above all, you will exercise the discretion that comes with working closely alongside senior leadership.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a driver with a valid New York State license in good standing and a clean driving abstract, not less than [five] years of professional driving experience, and not less than [three] years driving in the New York City metropolitan area. You should know the city well, including its bridges, tunnels, airport approaches, and congestion relief zone. You should be comfortable with a variable schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and able to adapt to changes on short notice. Professionalism, punctuality, and absolute discretion are essential.

Prior experience as an executive driver or chauffeur in a corporate, hospitality, or private-service setting is preferred, as is defensive driving certification and familiarity with the Route 17 and Interstate 84 corridors.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The pay range for this position is $23.00 to $30.00 per hour. This is a full-time, year-round, overtime-eligible position paid weekly. Actual pay within the range will be determined by experience, driving record, and qualifications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods, to enter and exit a vehicle repeatedly throughout a shift, and to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50 pounds. Work involves exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
