Job summary

The Glen in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Private Dining Room Attendant to join its Culinary Team. You will deliver quality dining experiences to residents and guests in a warm, sanitary setting.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, coordinating with kitchen staff, processing payments on POS, stocking dining room, and closing the shift. A ServeSafe certificate and prior dining room or server experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dining room attendant or server experience preferred.
• Completion of ServeSafe course upon hire.
• People-oriented with excellent oral communication skills.
• Computer skills with POS system.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to read, speak, write, and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and presents menu.
• Takes food and beverage orders and processes payments.
• Coordinates with kitchen staff to ensure resident/guest satisfaction.
• Maintains dining area and service standards.
• Close the shift on the POS terminal.
• Assist with stocking and par stock levels.
• Respond to guest requests and ensure satisfaction.
