Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in direct lending, private credit, leveraged finance, or investment banking.
• Strong underwriting and execution experience on middle-market credit transactions.
• Expertise in financial modeling, credit analysis, debt structuring, and due diligence.
• Experience evaluating unitranche, senior secured, and subordinated debt opportunities.
• Solid understanding of credit documentation, covenant analysis, and downside risk assessment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relations with sponsors, management teams, and advisors.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, structure, and execute direct lending investments across the lower-middle market.
• Lead financial, commercial, and credit due diligence on prospective borrowers.
• Develop detailed financial models, investment memoranda, and credit recommendations.
• Negotiate financing terms, covenant packages, and legal documentation with sponsors and counterparties.
• Monitor portfolio companies, assess credit performance, and proactively identify potential risks.
• Build and maintain relationships with private equity sponsors, intermediaries, and business owners.
• Collaborate with senior investment professionals on portfolio management and investment strategy.
