The ideal candidate will conduct financial modeling, diligence, and credit analysis, support deal structuring, and contribute to portfolio monitoring and investment memos for the Investment Committee.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investment Analysis & Underwriting: conduct due diligence, financial modeling, and credit analysis.

We are partnering with a private credit firm in New York City that is looking to add a talented investment professional to its growing team. The firm invests across mainly direct p rivate credit investments (senior secured, mezzanine, and structured equity) as well as co-investments, fund-of-funds, and secondaries. 70% of the focus will be on direct investments.

The team is seeking an Analyst/Senior Analyst to focus primarily on evaluating, and executing new investment opportunities. This individual will play a pivotal role in leading transaction workstreams, performing rigorous fundamental analysis, overseeing due diligence processes, and presenting investment recommendations to senior leadership.

This is a high-impact position within a lean, collaborative team, offering meaningful responsibility, frequent exposure to senior decision-makers, and the opportunity to directly influence the firm's capital deployment and portfolio construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Investment Analysis & Underwriting: Conduct due diligence, financial modeling, and credit analysis for potential investments.
• Deal Execution: Support transaction structuring, documentation, and coordination with legal and third-party advisors.
• Portfolio Management: Monitor existing investments, track performance metrics, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Investment Committee Support: Prepare and present investment memos and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Operational Support: Assist with reporting, tracking deal flow, and maintaining internal systems and documentation.
