Job summary

AustralianSuper in New York is expanding its Private Credit capability. The newly created on-site role in our 1251 Avenues of the Americas office reports to the Head of Investment Services and aligns with governance standards for direct investing.

You will work with Private Credit teams in New York and London to ensure global consistency and robust transaction execution. The role emphasizes direct investments, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration with ESG, Tax, Legal, and Operations to

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in investment management or investment banking.
• Knowledge of direct unlisted transactions or Real Assets/Credit.
• Experience dealing with internal and external partners (lawyers, accountants, consultants).
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and written/verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure direct investments comply with the Direct Transaction Standard.
• Support transaction process for direct credit investments and manage steps/deliverables.
• Coordinate with legal, tax, ESG and other teams during transaction timelines.
• Maintain active deal pipeline and oversee budgeting for the Private Credit portfolio.
• Lead or support reviews of systems and processes in Private Credit.
