Job summary

AustralianSuper is seeking a Portfolio Manager to shape and manage its Private Equity portfolio, focusing on construction, risk frameworks, and capital deployment. You will partner with senior stakeholders to deliver disciplined, risk-adjusted outcomes across the private equity program.

The role requires 10+ years in investment management with private equity experience; a Bachelor's degree is essential, with MBA and CFA/FRM/CAIA strongly preferred. Located in New York City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or related field.
• Experience in investment management and private markets.
• Strong portfolio construction and risk analytics background.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve PE portfolio construction framework and risk exposures.
• Assess PE investments (funds, co-investments, co-underwrites) portfolio-wide.
• Build cash flow forecasting and commitment pacing models.
• Lead research on portfolio and investment risks for actionable insights.
• Present portfolio reviews and risk reporting to senior management.
