Job summary

Capital City Club is seeking a full-time Security Guard at its Brookhaven Country Club location. The role focuses on keeping the club peaceful and safe for members, guests, and staff, while delivering a warm, informative welcome and guiding daily operations.

Key duties include patrolling facilities, enforcing club rules, assisting in emergencies, maintaining a secure environment, and reporting incidents to the Chief Engineer. The position offers benefits and a supportive work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests at the front gate in a polite friendly manner, using their names if possible.
• Provide information to members and guests on the daily functions and locations within the Club.
• Patrol parking lots, and prevent unauthorized vehicles and people from accessing the property.
• Patrol all areas of the Club including employee areas, golf course, and lake.
• Responsible for overall safety on Club property. Enforce Club rules on driving speeds, reckless behavior, and parking procedures.
• Assist Club management in enforcing employee rules, preventing employee theft, and in the investigation and documentation of security-related incidents.
• Assist in emergency procedures and direct emergency vehicles to scenes and people to proper areas.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls with timely response and corrective action.
• Maintain a clean and properly fueled security cart.
• Write daily security reports and incident/investigation reports; communicate priorities with Chief Engineer.
• Safeguard and maintain tools and equipment provided by the Club.
• Maintain current CPR/AED certifications.
• Additional duties as assigned.
