Job summary

Westwood Country Club in Vienna, VA, seeks a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to lead day-to-day FOH operations across multiple dining venues, ensuring exceptional service for members and guests.

The role collaborates with the AGM and Senior F&B Manager, helps hire and train staff, manages budgets, updates menus and POS, conducts pre-shift meetings, and maintains standards of presentation and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food and beverage operations and wine service.
• Strong communication and leadership to engage with members.
• Hands-on management style with attention to detail.
• Experience managing budgets and staff scheduling.
• Familiarity with POS systems and menu programming.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day FOH outlets on the upper club level across 3 dining rooms.
• Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling FOH staff.
• Develop the department's yearly budget with senior leadership.
• Oversee POS updates and menu programming.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings with staff to ensure service standards.
• Perform inventories of beverages, supplies, dinnerware, and glassware.
• Ensure staff presentation and uniforms meet club standards.
• Enforce club rules and foster member-focused hospitality.
