Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) in Fall River, MA seeks a Systems Infrastructure Engineer to join the Undersea Warfare team. You will deploy and manage private cloud virtualization, optimize Linux on Dell PowerEdge hardware, and secure networks with Cisco gear in a hands-on, on-site role.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years configuring bare-metal servers, hypervisors, and Linux, with strong virtualization and datacenter expertise, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in IT.
• 3+ years configuring bare-metal servers, hypervisors and Linux.
• Strong virtualization and datacenter infrastructure management.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot VMware/ESXi private cloud clusters.
• Maintain Linux OS on Dell PowerEdge servers; kernel tuning.
• Configure physical and virtual networking with Cisco hardware.
• Diagnose hardware, hypervisor, and OS issues across the stack.
• Apply security configurations per RMF/STIG frameworks.
• Create architectural diagrams and engineering plans.
