Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a seasoned tax professional to join the Financial Services Organization (FSO) EDGE practice. You’ll deliver complex tax compliance and advisory services for high‑net‑worth clients and their families on cross‑border engagements.

With a CPA/EA or licensed attorney credential and 8+ years in tax services, you’ll lead engagements, advise on federal and state tax matters, and mentor junior staff in a flexible EY environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics is required.
• CPA, EA or licensed attorney credentials are required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a professional services or tax services organization in the financial services industry.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation; some state/local tax exposure.
• Proficiency with tax and accounting technologies is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage tax compliance and consulting delivery to meet client deadlines.
• Lead projects and work independently with guidance on complex issues.
• Coordinate with client tax liaisons and teams to gather information and obtain instructions for timely tax reporting.
• Support long-term client relationships and manage workflow effectively.
• Manage engagement deliverables and resources to ensure timely, accurate tax services and engagement economics.
• Provide direction on complex tax matters and coach staff and seniors.
• Review work for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
