Job summary

EY is seeking a senior tax professional to join our FSO EDGE Private practice in the United States. You will deliver and manage complex tax compliance and consulting services for financial services clients, including private companies and their owners, across cross-border engagements.

Ideal candidates have a CPA/EA or licensed attorney credential, at least 8 years in tax services within financial services, and strong leadership, communication, and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law or Economics.
• CPA, Enrolled Agent or licensed attorney.
• 8+ years of tax services experience in financial services.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation and state/local tax.
• Proficient in tax and accounting technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage compliance and consulting delivery services for client tax needs.
• Lead projects and work independently with guidance on complex situations.
• Coordinate with client tax liaisons and teams to gather information and deliver accurate tax statements.
• Maintain long-term client relationships and manage engagement workflow and economics.
• Advise on complex tax matters and supervise staff with feedback and coaching.
• Review staff work for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
