Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Consultant on the Sales team in Missouri to develop and implement a tailored sales plan for business insurance, employee health & benefits or private client services. You will coordinate service for assigned accounts, deliver renewals on time, and secure quotes when needed.

The role requires 2–5 years of outside B2B selling experience in midmarket environments, a professional, collaborative demeanor, and an assertive yet consultative approach.

A day in the life. As our Consultant on the Sales team, you'll develop and implement an individual sales plan for business insurance, employee health & benefits or private client services products and coordinate service of assigned accounts, deliver renewals on a timely basis and secure quotes when necessary.

Our future colleague. We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• 2-5 years of Outside B2B (business-to-business) selling with a proven track record in being able to ask the right questions in order to foster credibility quickly while at the same time gaining a sense of how to best align our offerings with the client.
• Experience in the midmarket - companies with (100 - 1000 employees).
• A professional, collaborative approach with a positive attitude
• Must be assertive - yet consultative

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce a plus
