Ashton North LLC is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Private Client Services Practice Group in a hybrid Philadelphia, PA setting. You will work on trust and estate matters for high-net-worth individuals, collaborating with a team of attorneys and paralegals to deliver superior client service.

The ideal candidate will have a JD from a top-tier law school, PA Bar admission or waiver suitability, an LL.M., and a strong tax background, with 5+ years of estate and tax planning experience.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania Bar Admission or ability to waive in.
• LL.M. and strong tax background required.
• 5+ years of substantive law firm experience in estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.
• Drafting and estate administration skills, including experience with complex wills and trusts.

Responsibilities

• Advise high-net-worth clients on trust and estate matters, including estate planning, tax strategies, and administration.
• Draft complex wills and trusts tailored to client needs.
• Manage the administration of estates from probate through final closing, ensuring all tax filings and legal requirements are met.
• Prepare client presentations and conduct tax calculations and analyses.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to deliver superior client service.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney to work with high-net-worth individuals on complex trust and estate matters while developing expertise in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Pennsylvania Bar Admission or the ability to waive in.
• LL.M. andstrong tax background required.
• 5+ years of substantive law firm experience in estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.
• Demonstrated drafting and estate administration skills, including experience with complex wills and trusts.
• Proficiency in preparing client presentations, tax calculations and analysis, and administering estates from probate through closing.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage client contact.
• Supervisory skills to direct paralegals in a collaborative environment.

• Competitive Salary: Expected annual base salary range of $285,000- $395,000, as determined by experience and market factors
