Job summary

KeyCorp's Private Client Banker (PCB) role focuses on the entire client relationship with a plan-based approach to financial advice. The PCB delivers and refers appropriate financial solutions to clients with up to $2M in investable assets and builds a trusted advisory relationship.

Responsibilities include developing a pipeline, opening accounts, and coordinating with Investment Services, Private Bank, Mortgage and Business Banking to meet clients' financial wellness goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in developing customer relationships and achieving sales/referral goals.
• Knowledge of sales techniques and prospecting; comfortable with tele-consulting and outside calling.
• Ability to engage with small business clients and build rapport quickly.
• In-depth knowledge of private client products and services; stay informed about market trends.

Responsibilities

• Listen for financial wellness opportunities and provide customized recommendations.
• Refer investment and insurance products to clients.
• Develop and maintain a referral pipeline and prospect via centers of influence.
• Open personal and business accounts and manage deposits and lending products.
• Partner with branch teammates and other lines of business to deepen relationships.
