Job summary

SkyShare seeks an experienced Captain to operate a Part 91 Citation CJ, initially based at Covington (CVC) with plans to move to CPP. You will work directly with the owner to ensure safe, efficient trips and deliver exceptional service.

The role requires recent single-pilot jet experience, 2,800+ total hours, and FAA Commercial/ATP credentials. A strong safety culture and long-term stability are emphasized in this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must have recent single-pilot jet experience.
• Total flight time of at least 2,800 hours with breakdown: 250 PIC, 500 multi, 300 jet, 200 instrument.
• FAA Commercial or ATP certificate with appropriate category.
• Valid FAA 1st Class Medical certificate.
• FCC Radiotelephone Permit.
• FAA Instrument Rating.
• U.S. passport and driver's license.
• Current IFR knowledge and experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must pass TSA background checks and secure SIDA badge when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, checklists, and best practices.
• Perform flight duties for up to 14 hours per day during trips for as many as 8 consecutive days.
• Exhibits a safety-first mindset and adaptability to changing environments.
• Demonstrates strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Possesses high accountability in all actions and decisions.
• Capable of managing sleep effectively to ensure readiness for flight duty.
• Strong customer-focused presentation and first-impression skills.
• Exhibits physical readiness, including lifting up to 80 pounds.
• Competent in working with animals before, during, and after flights.
• Demonstrates integrity and confidentiality.
