Job summary

Evercore in New York, NY seeks an Analyst/Junior Associate for its Private Capital Markets group. The role focuses on leading private capital raise mandates, coordinating investor materials, and negotiating documentation with borrowers and sponsors.

You will structure debt and bespoke private capital solutions, partner with coverage teams, and help develop market views across leveraged loans, high yield, and structured equity for client engagements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in leveraged finance or structured private equity.
• Third-year Analyst or Junior Associate preferred.
• Experience in structuring and originating leveraged loan, high yield or structured equity.
• Ability to evaluate credit and/or equity risk and investor perspective.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Education: B.S. or B.A.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of private capital raise mandates, including managing process and timeline, preparing investor marketing materials, conducting investor outreach, facilitating investor due diligence process and negotiating legal documentation.
• Structure and evaluate debt, structured equity and other bespoke private capital solutions for issuers and financial sponsor clients.
• Serve as point‑person in driving client marketing and origination support materials.
• Develop market views across leveraged loans, high‑yield, private credit and structured equity products.
• Coordinate with industry teams to evaluate capital structure alternatives for client marketing and transaction execution.
• Collaborate with M&A, ECM, Restructuring and other product groups on holistic capital structure advisory mandates.
