Job summary

Eastern Bank’s Cambridge Trust division is hiring a Private Banking Relationship Associate II for a Boston-based role with a minimum in-office requirement. The position emphasizes advanced portfolio administration, relationship management support, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver service excellence to high-net-worth clients.

The role partners with Business Development Officers to drive client acquisition, retention, and portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with major course work in business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of banking, private banking, wealth management, commercial banking, treasury management, or portfolio administration experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex client relationships.
• Strong communication and servicing skills.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM and other bank systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary portfolio management partner to assigned BDO(s) and oversee servicing for complex client relationships.
• Support business development efforts, referrals, and production reporting with BDOs.
• Attend client and prospect meetings and assist in relationship reviews and presentations.
• Lead complex client onboarding activities and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Provide specialized escrow support and coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations.
