Job summary

Frost is seeking a Private Banking Officer I to manage and grow relationships with mass affluent to affluent clients in Texas. You will collaborate with investments, insurance, and other Frost teams to tailor financial plans and deliver exceptional personalized advice.

You will develop new business, maintain strong client contacts, and work closely with credit underwriting. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in client-facing roles support success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in a customer facing relationship management role, preferably within financial services.
• Proven record of success in cultivating new relationships.
• Outstanding interpersonal, calling, sales, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to promote and cross sell across all lines of business.
• Excellent verbal, written, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• General understanding of banking, investment, trust, and insurance products and services.
• NMLS license; ability to transfer license to Frost or obtain license within 60 days.
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, retain, and expand client relationships within mass affluent to affluent markets (clients with $500K-$1.5 million investable assets).
• Generate a minimum of $3 million in new business per quarter and secure at least 12 new mass affluent client relationships annually.
• Make sales calls to clients.
• Prospect and engage in pre-call and post-call planning and strategy review.
• Monitor and manage clients’ existing credit relationships by reviewing their loan portfolio.
• Identify and recommend products and services to meet clients’ needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the credit underwriting team.
• Participate in community and professional activities that elevate Frost’s image.
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential new client circles.
• Proactively stay in touch with your customers.
