Job summary

Peapack Private Bank & Trust is seeking an Universal Banker II to deliver exceptional service and manage the full client experience on-site in Bridgewater, NJ. You will identify cross-sell opportunities, refer to partnered lines, and handle transactions while upholding our 'Clients First' and 'One Team' principles.

The role requires strong communication, enthusiasm, and tech-savviness to educate clients on digital banking tools and grow relationships in a high-performing boutique environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Customer experience in Retail or Hospitality preferred, Banking experience a plus.
• Flexible to banking hours: M, Tu, W, F 8:30am–5pm; Th 8:30am–6pm; Sat 8:30am–12pm.

Responsibilities

• Deliver service to clients while following protocols and best practices.
• Learn branch technology and educate clients on its use.
• Develop and manage consumer and business account relationships and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Participate in training and sales meetings.
• Understand partner products and services to meet client needs.
• Open all products offered (checking, MMDA, CDs, IRAs, Netteller, Debit).
• Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loans, IRAs, CDs.
