Job summary

First Western Trust in Boulder, CO seeks a Private Banker II to manage commercial and complex consumer deposit relationships, deliver high-touch client service, and oversee onboarding, new accounts, and transactions. You’ll support audits, security procedures, and coordinate with Operations, Compliance, and Loan Operations to resolve client needs.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Business or Finance, 3–5 years in client-facing banking, strong knowledge of teller operations, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; equivalent banking experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years of client-facing banking experience.
• Strong knowledge of teller functions, client services, deposit accounts, treasury products, banking regulations, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to multitask and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Notary commission required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Build and deepen relationships with commercial and complex consumer clients, supporting new accounts, onboarding, service needs, and annual review activities.
• Manage complex deposit requests and perform teller functions—including cash handling, money movement, and end-of-day processing with accuracy and consistency.
• Support PC operations through audits, security procedures, after-hours security contact duties, and participation in operational deposit initiatives.
• Provide guidance to Private Banker I team members and collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Loan Operations, and Security to resolve client needs.
• Participate in business development activities and maintain strong knowledge of bank products, services, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance and exceptional client support.
