Job summary

First Western is seeking a Private Banker II in Fort Collins, CO. You will manage commercial and complex consumer deposit relationships, oversee new accounts, onboarding, and service resolution, while supporting audits and security standards.

You will guide junior team members, collaborate with Operations and Compliance, and participate in business development to deliver high-touch client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of client-facing banking experience.
• Strong knowledge of teller functions, client services, deposit accounts, treasury products, banking regulations, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Notary commission required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Build and deepen relationships with commercial and complex consumer clients, supporting new accounts, onboarding, service needs, and annual review activities.
• Manage complex deposit requests and perform teller functions—including cash handling, money movement, and end-of-day processing with accuracy and consistency.
• Support PC operations through audits, security procedures, after-hours security contact duties, and participation in operational deposit initiatives.
• Provide guidance to Private Banker I team members and collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Loan Operations, and Security to resolve client needs.
• Participate in business development activities and maintain strong knowledge of bank products, services, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance and exceptional client support.
