Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Houston, TX seeks a Private Banker to build and enhance long-term relationships with High-Net-Worth individuals and families. The role serves as trusted advisor, coordinating across the bank to tailor solutions and drive client satisfaction and growth.

The Private Banker will expand the client base, collaborate with Wealth Management partners, monitor accounts, and ensure credit analysis and lending processes meet client goals while aligning with bank standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in financial services with High-Net-Worth individuals and families.
• Strong sales skills and drive to pursue opportunities.
• High level of emotional intelligence with the ability to read situations.
• Business development and COI development skills.
• Solid understanding of banking and lending products.
• Ability to analyze complex financial statements.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Expand the bank’s client base by providing proactive, advisory solutions to Private Banking clients and prospects.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with High-Net-Worth individuals and related entities.
• Deliver high-quality client service and make appropriate recommendations to address needs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management Partners to identify planning opportunities.
• Coordinate with specialists to connect clients to experts for specialized needs.
• Monitor client accounts and recommend actions to meet goals.
• Manage the private banking loan portfolio and monitor credit quality.
• Achieve targets for deposits, credit origination and assets under management.
• Adhere to lending procedures and perform credit analysis.
• Work with wealth advisors and fiduciary specialists to preserve client wealth.
