Citizens Private Bank in Greenwich, CT, seeks a Private Banker, Associate, to support Relationship Managers, develop relationships with high-net-worth clients, and transition clients to Citizens while maintaining existing relationships using the full deposit product suite.

You will identify opportunities for additional business and assist with documentation, new client follow-up, compliance logs, and admin duties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a professional services role; private banking preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both phone and in person).
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
• A commitment to being a collaborative team player and handling sensitive information with upmost discretion
• Knowledge of banking operations and servicing preferred.
• Must be able to review and analyze data reports and client facing documentation; must be computer proficient.
• Must be able to travel as position requires.

• Assist with obtaining and organizing all required documentation for account openings and ongoing maintenance processes.

• Participate in business development calls with Business Bankers/Relationship Managers and/or Private Bankers.
• Acquire knowledge of existing Bank products, specifically on the deposit side, but with a small focus on the Trust, Wealth Management and Loan products.
• Keep up to date with new Bank product offerings and services.
• Maintain the marketing and brochure supply for Private Bankers.
• Adhere to and comply with the applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance.

As we prepare to open our new Greenwich, CT Private Bank office in Q1, we're seeking accomplished professionals to join a team focused on serving high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses with a highly personalized approach to banking and wealth management. As a Private Banker, Associate, you will have the opportunity to assist the Private Banking team and Relationship Managers in developing relationships with clients, transitioning them to Citizens while maintaining existing relationships using the full range of Citizens deposit products and services. In this role, you will encourage and recognize opportunities for additional business from existing clients and support the Private Bankers with documentation, new client follow-up, compliance logs and administrative duties. You will use your exceptional client service skills and ingenuity to solve problems and enhance relationships with our clients.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Provide ongoing exceptional client service for clients' day-to-day needs via email, phone or in person.
• Support the Private Banking team and provide backup support in the Private Bankers' absence.
• Assist with obtaining and organizing all required documentation for account openings and ongoing maintenance processes.
• Partner with Private Banker to maintain client relationships and open new accounts.

• Adhere to and comply with the applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.) as well as Bank policies and procedures.
• Identify and report suspicious activity to the Anti-Money Laundering Officer.
• Stay up to date on fraud tactics, watch for red flags, and elevate to our fraud partners when needed.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications, and/or Other Professional Credentials:

• 3+ years of experience in a professional services role; private banking preferred

Hours & Work Schedule:

• Hours per Week: 40
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (eligible for overtime as needed)
• In office Position during Private Bank Office hours of operation

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $39.90-$49.03 per hour, plus an opportunity to earn an annualized discretionary award.

Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
