Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (Business, Finance or Accounting).
  • 2+ years in private banking or commercial banking with credit knowledge.
  • Access to reliable transportation and legal ability to drive, if applicable.
  • Preferred 4+ years of private/commercial banking experience with credit knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor a portfolio of private banking, commercial, and commercial real estate relationships to ensure sound credit quality and compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and repayment sources to evaluate loan requests and recommend appropriate credit structures.
  • Prepare credit presentations and underwriting recommendations for new and existing borrowing relationships, identifying risks and mitigating factors.
  • Support client opportunities by developing financial analyses, profitability assessments, and lending recommendations.
  • Oversee ongoing portfolio monitoring including annual reviews, risk rating assessments, loan renewals, and covenant compliance.
  • Partner with relationship managers, credit teams, and business partners to address portfolio needs and support client retention.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage and monitor a portfolio of private banking, commercial, and commercial real estate relationships to ensure sound credit quality and compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and repayment sources to evaluate loan requests and recommend appropriate credit structures.
  • Prepare credit presentations and underwriting recommendations for new and existing borrowing relationships, identifying risks and mitigating factors.
  • Support prospective and current client opportunities by developing financial analyses, profitability assessments, and lending recommendations.
  • Oversee ongoing portfolio monitoring, including annual reviews, risk rating assessments, loan renewals, and covenant compliance.
  • Partner with relationship managers, credit teams, and business partners to address portfolio needs, resolve credit issues, and support client retention efforts.
  • Track and report key portfolio metrics, including loan maturities, documentation exceptions, financial reporting requirements, and past due accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through additional banking and financial services while maintaining a strong presence within the community and marketplace.
Education & Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of private banking or commercial banking experience with credit knowledge.
  • Access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive, if applicable.
  • Preferred 4+ years of private banking or commercial banking experience with credit knowledge.
