Job summary

Accuray in Madison, WI (Hybrid) or Remote (U.S.) is seeking a Data Privacy and Responsible AI Manager to lead privacy risk assessments, PIAs, DPAs, and governance across enterprise systems and vendor relationships. You will collaborate with Legal, Security, IT, and business stakeholders to support compliance and responsible data use.

The role emphasizes global privacy requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, and cross-border transfers, plus governance of AI technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in privacy, compliance, information security, risk management, or related field.
Significant hands-on PIAs/DPIAs as an individual contributor.
Experience reviewing DPAs and privacy-related contractual clauses.
Strong knowledge of global privacy principles and regulatory expectations.
Ability to communicate clearly to business, technical, and security stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Privacy risk assessment across enterprise processes, systems, vendors, and initiatives.
Conduct PIAs and DPIAs for new or changed processing activities and third-party services.
Review DPAs, BAAs, and privacy-related contract terms with vendors and partners.
Collaborate with Enterprise Security on risk assessments and third-party risk management.
Apply HIPAA, GDPR, UK GDPR and other privacy laws to governance and compliance.
Support AI governance by assessing AI-related risks and vendor provisions.
Travel <10% may be required.
