Job summary

lululemon is seeking a Privacy Program Manager who will engage Security, Product, Marketing, Technology, and Digital teams to drive privacy response processes and compliance within the Global Privacy Program. The role will work alongside Engineering, Security and Legal to build privacy-by-design principles and drive updates to policies.

The position calls for strong program management abilities, comfort with uncertainty, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives while mentoring team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or applicable experience in information technology, compliance, business administration or related discipline.
• PMP or CIPP/CIPM certification considered an asset.
• Experience as a project manager is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, sound judgment, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Aptitude to learn and manage change.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to drive technical execution teams with competing priorities towards project objectives and timelines.
• Ability to successfully manage priorities within deadlines in a complex and rapidly evolving organization.
• Knowledge of retail environment an asset.
• 7-10+ years of project management/industry work experience would be ideal; but 4-5 years also acceptable.
• Familiarity with IT SDLC processes and compliance requirements such as PCI and SOX also ideal.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing review, gap analysis and update of the current privacy program and policies to follow applicable data protection laws.
• Gather requirements from partners and produce clear, detailed project plans, including project goals, scope, approach, and overall task plan to provide transparency on critical path tasks.
• DSAR/Privacy Questionnaires process, including on-boarding and analysis.
• Analyze and understand data flows to identify solutions to current and future privacy issues.
• Maintain internal and external privacy policies and notices.
• Provide operational privacy by design recommendations.
• Manage cross-functional projects to implement improved privacy processes.
• Proactively research current privacy standards and future standards that are relevant to organization.
• Drive critical ongoing process improvements for the program.
• Create privacy initiatives and training, and cultivate a culture emphasis on data privacy.
• Manage and develop team members.
• Support program level global privacy compliance.
• Advise Legal - Privacy Counsels on operationalization of privacy requirements
