The Novi, Michigan-based law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join its Privacy and Mobility Practice Team. The role focuses on AI, data privacy, and security, advising clients across industries including autonomous vehicles and consumer data marketplaces.

Ideal candidates will draft and negotiate privacy agreements, conduct research, and translate evolving regulations into practical guidance while delivering clear, client-ready written work and collaborating

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Three to five years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in privacy, data protection, or related areas.
• Knowledge of state consumer privacy laws, GDPR, and HIPAA.
• Ability to produce clear, client-ready written work product.
• Sound analytical judgment and attention to detail.
• Interest in technology-forward industries.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on privacy and cybersecurity compliance programs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate privacy and data-related agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on privacy topics.
• Draft privacy policies, consumer disclosures, and internal policies.
• Support mobility-related regulatory compliance matters.
• Assist with incident response and regulatory inquiries.
• Monitor legal developments and translate them into client updates.
