KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Privacy Associate Attorney in Washington, DC, to join a premier Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection Practice Group. The role involves advising clients on privacy compliance, data protection, and regulatory matters, with a focus on U.S.

and international frameworks. The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, DC bar eligibility, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and strong drafting and communication skills.

Formación

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC (or eligibility to waive into the D.C. Bar), in good standing.
• 1-3 years of substantive privacy, cybersecurity, or data protection experience.
• Experience advising clients on privacy compliance, data protection, and related regulatory matters.
• Familiarity with U.S. privacy laws and regulations, including state privacy frameworks and federal requirements.
• Exposure to international privacy laws with cross-border considerations is preferred.
• Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Exceptional written communication abilities with client-facing analyses.
• Comparable law firm experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Advise clients on privacy compliance, data governance, and data protection requirements across industries.
• Assist clients with regulatory compliance involving U.S. and international privacy frameworks.
• Conduct privacy and cybersecurity due diligence in transactions.
• Draft, review, and update privacy policies and data processing agreements.
• Support cybersecurity preparedness, incident response, investigations, and risk management initiatives.
• Monitor developments and provide strategic guidance on evolving privacy requirements.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex regulatory matters.
