HushOne, Inc. seeks a privacy-focused engineer to ensure deletion, export and data control across distributed storage. You will map data across vaults, logs, and backups, implementing verifiable retention and user controls while reconciling user promises with storage realities.

You will deliver end-to-end deletion workflows within 90 days, and contribute to privacy governance with GDPR/CCPA considerations. Remote-friendly with US and international teams.

Qualifications

• Privacy engineering, data systems, or security experience required.
• Ability to reconcile a user promise with distributed storage realities.
• Make deletion truly functional across caches, backups and external recipients.
• Build exports that are genuinely usable, not just technically compliant.

Responsibilities

• Map data across vaults, indexes, logs, backups and model artifacts.
• Implement minimization, retention and user controls with verifiable behavior.
• Explain where external recipients or trained model parameters affect deletion guarantees.
• Trace a deletion request through cached summaries, offline devices, backups and external recipients.
