Privacy & Cybersecurity Associate (Mid–Senior Level)

• Offers flexible working – Ability to work remote up to 2.5 days per week

A leading law firm is seeking a mid‑to‑senior level associate with at least five years of experience handling privacy and cybersecurity matters to join its growing Privacy & Cybersecurity practice.

Responsibilities include advising on data breaches and incident response, privacy compliance programmes, cybersecurity risk management, and technology transactions. Familiarity with regulations and frameworks such as CCPA, HIPAA, GLBA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR is preferred. Additional experience may include negotiating technology and outsourcing agreements, advising on data governance strategies, supporting M&A transactions, drafting privacy and security policies, and counselling clients on privacy and cybersecurity issues across a range of industries, including fintech and emerging technologies.

Strong academic credentials, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and ability to manage complex client matters independently are required. Privacy certifications are a plus but not required.
