Job summary

OVHcloud US is seeking an Associate General Counsel based in Reston, VA to support privacy, data protection, and commercial legal matters across the business. You will lead the privacy program, advise product, sales, marketing, and operations, and help manage regulatory compliance globally while aligning legal strategy with OVHcloud’s growth.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• 8+ years of experience advising on commercial, regulatory, privacy, and compliance matters.
• Experience building and leading corporate privacy programs.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex technology and cloud service agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead OVHcloud's privacy program and regulatory monitoring across jurisdictions.
• Advise product, operations, sales, and marketing on legal requirements from inception to launch.
• Draft, negotiate, and review enterprise and vendor agreements.
• Review marketing materials for legal compliance and risk.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance to stakeholders.
• Manage cross-border data transfers and data localization considerations.
