PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor to work in the Chester County Prison in West Chester, PA. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

CADC/CAADC or licensed clinician (LSW/LCSW or LPC) certification is required, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and at least one year of clinical experience. Qualifications

• Must be certified as Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC or CAADC) or licensed clinician (LSW/LCSW or LPC).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related Human Services field.
• Minimum one year clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate MAT per NCCHC/ACA standards and PCM policies.
• Serve as MAT liaison between medical unit and facility staff.
• Engage inmates/patients in therapeutic interventions for substance abuse.
• Assist with suicide risk detection and prevention.
• Assess and document treatment responses.
• Facilitate group and individual MAT sessions.
• Assist discharge planning for MAT caseload and coordinate with inmate services.
