PrimeCare Medical is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) to work as a Behavioral Health Professional at Northampton County Prison in Easton, PA.

The 40-hour-per-week role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, within the medical department. The position involves clinical assessments, risk management, and coordination with psychiatry as needed, with a focus on standards of care.

Qualificações

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related Human Service field with clinical coursework
• Must be licensed as LPC, LMSW, or LCSW in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of two years of experience

Responsabilidades

• Conduct clinical assessments based on referrals and self-referrals, including mental status examination, case conceptualization, diagnosis, and treatment plan.
• Make referrals to psychiatry when appropriate.
• Conduct risk assessments using structured interviews and risk assessment tools; manage inmates at risk per policy.
• Serve as PCM mental health liaison for services outside the facility.
• Facilitate admission/placement of inmates to forensic hospitals when necessary.
• Monitor all mental health services and ensure standards of care with NCCHC and psychiatric/psychology standards.
• Be a member of the Quality Assurance Committee.
• Develop and conduct in-service education programs per annual calendar.
• Collect data and prepare monthly performance reports.
