Job description

Rudolf Steiner School seeks a colleague to join the Early Childhood department as an for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate brings experience and enthusiasm for working with young children, ages 2-6. Ideally, strong candidates will possess or be working toward a Waldorf Early Childhood teacher training certificate and will have teaching experience in a Waldorf school setting.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESinclude:

• Supporting the Lead Teacher in all classroom activities
• Preparing snacks for the classroom
• Leading handwork activities
• Regular communication with colleagues, and parents

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Completion of Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred
• Interest in and appreciation for Waldorf Education
• Commitment to professional growth including further education in Waldorf teaching
