Job summary

C4 Technical Services in Minnesota is seeking a Prior Authorization Coordinator to manage the patient order workflow. You will follow up on authorization requests, review clinician documentation, and liaise with clinics, payers, and patients to move orders toward fulfillment.

You will maintain patient records, meet service levels, and contribute to process improvements, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a positive patient experience. Experience in medical devices or call centers is preferred.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent and relevant work experience.
• Preferred: experience with patients, clinicians, and payers.
• Experience with medical devices, outpatient DME, insurance or revenue cycle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on authorization requests, including initial submissions and appeals.
• Review clinician documentation for completeness and signatures.
• Liaise with clinics, payers, clinicians, and patients to progress orders.
• Maintain accurate patient records and payer portal registrations.
• Meet departmental service levels and participate in trainings.
• Support process improvements and ensure timely order processing.
