Job summary

Pure Infusion is seeking a detail-oriented Prior Authorization Specialist to manage a caseload of active authorizations, interpret payer policies, and ensure timely access to infusion therapy for patients. You will work with Salesforce, WeInfuse, and AMD to track progress and communicate with providers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate brings MA experience, strong organizational skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset to a collaborative healthcare environment in Boise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant with direct prior authorization and biologic therapy experience.
• Strong experience using Salesforce, WeInfuse, and AMD for case tracking and communication.
• Must have a Medical Assistant certification and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Process prior authorizations accurately and efficiently, reviewing step therapy and payer requirements.
• Manage appeals and denials, escalating cases when needed and following payer protocols.
• Verify insurance benefits and determine INN or OON status across multiple payers and states.
