Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of Medical Assistant experience with direct prior authorization and biologic therapy experience.
• Proficiency with systems such as Salesforce, WeInfuse, and AMD.
• High School diploma or equivalent; MA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Process prior authorizations accurately and efficiently, reviewing step therapy and payer requirements.
• Manage appeals and denials, escalating when necessary and following payer protocols.
• Verify insurance benefits and determine INN/OON status across multiple payers/states.
