Job summary

Pure Infusion in Utah seeks a detail‑oriented Prior Authorization Specialist to manage a caseload of authorizations and navigate payer policies. You will work with Salesforce, WeInfuse, and AMD to track progress, communicate with providers, and ensure timely treatment for patients.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years MA experience with prior authorization and biologic therapy exposure, plus proficiency with EMRs/CRMs and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience with prior authorization and biologic therapy exposure.
• Proficient with EMRs and CRM software; Salesforce experience preferred.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process prior authorizations accurately, reviewing step therapy and payer requirements.
• Manage appeals/denials and escalate as needed per payer protocols.
• Communicate with providers, patients, and internal teams to obtain needed documentation.
• Verify benefits and determine INN/OON status across payers/states.
• Document case updates in Salesforce within required timeframes.
