Prior Authorization Specialist – 40 hrs/wk – Prior Authorizations

We are currently recruiting for a Prior Authorization Specialist to join our Prior Authorization Department. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Cary Medical Center’s vision and mission by modeling the values and culture of the organization. Providing exceptional patient and customer care is part of our goal to keep our community healthy.

Qualified candidates for this position will be responsible for obtaining pre-certifications and pre-authorizations for procedures and medications, scheduling appointments for outpatient testing with other providers, and coordinates appointments with orders.

License/Educational/Experience/Skill Requirements:

1.High School Diploma or GED
2.Associates Degree, Medical Office Specialist preferred
3.Prior authorization or Pre-certification preferred
4.Experience in a medical related field preferred
