Community Relations Specialist – 40 hrs/wk – Public Relations

We are currently recruiting for a Community Relations Specialist to join our Public Relations Department. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Cary Medical Center’s vision and mission by modeling the values and culture of the organization. Providing exceptional patient and customer care is part of our goal to keep our community healthy.

The qualified candidate must have excellent social media and website management skills, be a good writer and have familiarity with graphic design. 3-5 years’ experience in public relations or related field required along with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related course of study. The successful candidate must have strong computer skills including Excel, and graphic design software. Previous work experience in health care or public health preferred. In addition to other duties the position will coordinate Cary’s Award Winning ‘Healthy You’ program and work to promote healthier communities.
