Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial, located in Los Angeles, is seeking a Coordinator to manage prior authorizations for scheduled procedures and act as the main liaison to expedite the collection process. This full-time role shifts during the day in the Center for Limb Preservation & Advanced Wound Care.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs daily reconciliation of scheduled procedures and obtains authorizations.
• Verifies insurance prior to office visits and guides billing procedures.
• Maintains and updates authorization numbers and communicates with insurers.
• Corrects CPT/ICD9 codes to enable pre-authorization and billing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
