A local healthcare staffing agency is looking for an experienced Prior Authorization Clerk to work remotely from New York State. In this full-time role, you will handle medication prior authorizations and communicate with healthcare providers. These are fully remote opportunities open to candidates residing in New York State.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Processing and completing medication prior authorizations
• Researching and reviewing prescription and medical benefit coverage
• Entering requests into the computer system
• Communicating with pharmacists, providers, and members
• Providing phone coverage for incoming calls
• Other related duties as assigned

Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-5:00PM. After training, participation in a rotating every-other-weekend schedule will be required.

Duration: Temporary through December 2026, with a strong possibility for extension or permanent hire.

Pay Rate: $21/hr, with health, dental, vision and pet insurance; PTO and holiday pay.

Job Requirements:
