Job summary

CloudRx Pharmacy Hub in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our Prior Authorization team. You will work directly with patients, healthcare providers, clinics, and insurers to help remove barriers to medication access and ensure accurate, timely prior authorization approvals.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing.
• Current CPhT certification.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, insurance processes, and prior authorizations.
• Experience with prior authorization, specialty, retail, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review prescription orders to identify medications requiring prior authorization.
• Gather and verify patient, insurance, prescription, and medical information.
• Prepare and submit accurate prior authorization requests to insurance providers.
• Follow up on pending requests and denials.
• Communicate with patients to explain the prior authorization process.
• Collaborate with clinics, pharmacies, and insurers to resolve issues.
• Document activity and protect patient information per regulations.
