Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: 0 - 6 months.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the SC Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP) is required and must be maintained.
• Must obtain and maintain PTCB or ExCPT certification.
• New team members within 6 months of hire as of 11/1/2023.

Responsibilities

• Manages end-to-end prior-authorization process for medications, services, and procedures.
• Submits accurate documentation to payers in a timely manner.
• Monitors authorizations and denials and collaborates with clinical teams.
• Helps optimize reimbursement while safeguarding patient access to therapy.
