Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC in Port Saint Lucie, FL seeks a Manager, PAP to oversee the operational flow of the patient access and processing department, including intake, review of medical records for medical necessity, and ensuring inbound calls meet service metrics.

You will lead a team of eight or more, train staff, develop SOPs, monitor performance with key metrics, and collaborate with other departments to improve processes and payer billings.

Qualifications

• Experience in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services.
• HME claims experience preferred.
• Medicare-certified HME environment experience in handling insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and measure departmental workflow and metrics.
• Oversee staff training and accountability for standards.
• Manage department budget and expenses.
• Prepare reports for leadership and other departments.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
