Job summary

Nashua Dermatology Associates in Nashua, NH is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology patients and care teams. You will assist providers with patient intake, administer medications and immunizations within scope, collect samples and perform point-of-care testing, and document activities in the medical record with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, MA training or 3 years of MA experience, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 1 year in a medical practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or 3 years MA experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• One year experience in a medical practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in care of patients in person, by phone, or telehealth under Provider supervision.
• Administer medications, treatments, immunizations, and point-of-care testing as allowed.
• Collect health history and communicate findings to Providers.
• Document care activities and test results accurately in the medical record.
• Communicate care plans and Provider instructions to patients.
