Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC in Lexington, KY is expanding its Dixie Cups facility and seeking Printing Technicians to operate production machines, perform troubleshooting, and keep equipment in peak condition. Shifts are 12 hours, starting at 6:25 AM or 6:25 PM, with days, nights, weekends and holidays possible.

Pay starts at $28.94 per hour with performance-based bonuses! These roles require basic manufacturing experience, computer use, and color vision, with growth opportunities in equipment

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a manufacturing/industrial/military environment or completion of a post-secondary program
• Experience using a computer
• Able to accurately distinguish color and hue

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment within the operating envelope
• Perform routine basic care maintenance including inspections, cleaning, lubrication, alignment, small bearings, belts, torque bolts, etc. to support asset strategies
• Perform changeovers on production equipment to meet planning needs
• Inspect and evaluate machine conditions and react to any gaps in actual versus expected performance
• Work in a team environment—seeking and sharing knowledge with others for training and employee development

Your Job

Our Lexington, KY Dixie® Cup facility is expanding and looking for individuals to join our dynamic team as Printing Technicians. Our Printing Technicians create value by operating production machines, troubleshooting, and making any repairs or adjustments needed to ensure that they are operating at peak performance.

Our team works 12‑hour shifts starting at either 6:25 AM or 6:25 PM. Must be flexible to work days and/or nights, as well as weekend and holiday hours.

Pay for these roles start at $28.94 per hour and offer performance-based bonuses!

Our Team

Georgia‑Pacific’s Lexington facility uses state of the art innovation and technology to manufacture Dixie® Cups. Dixie is a brand of choice and is widely used in homes and businesses across the country.

Our team works 12‑hour shifts. Must be flexible to work during days and/or nights. No shift is guaranteed.

What You Will Do

• Operate and maintain equipment within the operating envelope

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• One (1) year or more experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment OR completion of post high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program
• Experience using a computer
• Able to accurately distinguish color and hue

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience with electrical/instrumentation in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with root cause analysis
• Experience with Thermo forming process
• Experience working with printing equipment
