Job summary

Amcor in Sarasota, FL, is seeking a maintenance technician to perform electrical and mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on production equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and ensuring ISO/SQF compliance.

You will work safely within GMP and HACCP frameworks, documenting tasks and collaborating with teammates to keep equipment and facilities running smoothly. A strong commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience performing electrical and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with ISO/SQF documentation and practices.
• Commitment to safety, GMP and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

Job description

PURPOSE: To perform electrical and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance in order to ensure integrity of infrastructure and the production equipment performs as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, including but not limited to: Install, alter, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanics on all equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems when needed.

Safely perform all required preventative maintenance tasks within the timeline specified on all assigned equipment in thermo department and building utilities/infrastructure.

Safely perform all tasks and complete any required documentation in ISO/SQF.

Assist with any other tasks asked of you when needed in order to be a team player and help out whenever you may be needed.

Safely assist with mold changes when needed.

Follow all safety, food safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
