Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a Pressroom Supervisor for their Hendersonville-area facility on a 6p-6a, 3-2-2-3 schedule. The role leads a team of ~20 operators in a fast-paced, high-speed packaging environment and drives production, quality, waste control, and plant safety goals.

Relocation assistance is provided, OT premium eligible, and the company offers top-tier benefits. Prior flexographic printing or pressroom supervision is highly preferred for this night-shift leadership position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in flexographic printing and/or pressroom supervision.
• Flexibel Packaging Experience Heavily Preferred
• Previous Shift Leader / Supervisor Experience in Manufacturing
• Possess good knowledge of GMP's & Safety Principles

Responsibilities

• Complete final job approvals on daily production runs.
• Coordinate routine maintenance checks of machines for preventative maintenance and repairs needed and writes maintenance work orders if necessary to ensure efficient operation of machinery.
• Communicate production schedules established by Production Planner with previous and following shift.
• Monitor and track daily attendance of all employees on shift.
• Check unavailable roll stock report daily.
• Conduct monthly safety and quality meetings with employees.
• Oversee and maintain upkeep of production equipment.
• Communicate with Customer Service Department to answer questions on production capabilities.
• Assist operators when needed in maintaining and adjusting equipment.
• Develop and implements operating methods and procedures to eliminate problems and improve product quality.

Our client is currently seeking a Pressroom Supervisor for their production facility near Hendersonville TN (Northern Nashville). This is a Night Shift position working 6p-6a on a 3-2-2-3 Schedule. Candidates with flexographic printing or pressroom experience are preferred. The Supervisor will oversee manufacturing activities concerned with production of company products & direct / coordinate a team of about 20 operators in a high speed, automated packaging manufacturing facility. This candidate will be responsible for the overseeing & maintaining goals of machine production, quality, waste, plant safety, and cleanliness. Relocation Assistance is provided.
