Job summary

ProAmpac in Wisconsin is seeking a Printing Press Assistant for the Printing Department. You will follow quality requirements, prepare for orders, and wrap finished rolls, while monitoring viscosities and completing PH forms.

You may fill in for the Press Operator as needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical and math skills, and strong attention to detail with a team-focused attitude.

Your Role: Printing Press Assistant - Printing Department:

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepares for upcoming orders.
• Packages/wraps finished rolls.
• Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms.
• Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator job when necessary.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience with printing equipment a plus
• Basic mechanical and math skills
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude

Shift:

2, 2, 3 rotating between days and nights every two weeks

Physical Demands

• The employee must frequently position or move up to 25 - 50 pounds.
• Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance.

Work Environment

• Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required.
